This year is the first year my daughter has REALLY celebrated Valentine's Day, other than getting a card and treats from mom and dad. Last night she sat down at the table and lovingly wrapped her candy hearts for all her friends.
She had a great time helping me choose an image on the computer for her tags, and I think they came out great! I was so proud of her :)
Valentines morning we had a play date at our neighbors house with all the kids, so I made a quick batch of pink strawberry shortcakes.
The kids got to make their own heart shaped grilled pizzas with any toppings they chose, and then decorated their bags to be loaded up with Valentines Day treats and notes.
It was a super sweet day with our playgroup, and I can't wait for next year when she's in school, because I know she will love passing cards and candies with her classmates!
