Whoa! I didn't mean literally!
Today I started A Bowl Full of Lemons getting organized challenge! Today was Day 1, the dreaded junk drawer! Okay...don't start hyperventilating, stay with me, I know we can do this.
Here is the before...
Oh my gosh...don't judge me! I know it's bad....
I emptied all the contents of this drawer into a big basket, vacuumed up any little crumbs or whatever found their way inside, and gave it a good wipe down with Lysol.

So at this point following the advice of so many bloggers out there. I decided I needed to go to the dollar store and buy tack paper and pretty baskets because if this drawer is pretty I will keep it clean better, right? I hope so...
Here is the after.
I threw away A LOT! I mean at least 20-30 receipts, and old business cards.
A place for everything, and everything in it's place. I just hope it stays that way. ;-) But man, I feel like I really accomplished something today.
One small step for me, one GIANT leap for this house.
