Goose Creek Candle Company Giveaway
I've said it before, and I'll say it again... I am a huge advocate for burning candles in your home! I know a lot of people love these plug in things that give off fragrance, but it's just not the same to me. There's something about having a candle lit in your home that says 'come take a seat, have a cup of coffee, put your feet up, and relax...'
Candles help me set the mood in my house. For instance, if I'm planning to do housework, I light my fresh, lemony, clean smelling candles. It really gets me going and ready to tackle laundry, dishes, and anything else! I know it sounds silly, but I seriously don't clean as well if my candles aren't lit. But with Fall just around the corner I have begun retiring my fresh, light, summer scents and have been putting out my heavier spiced, vanilla, cinnamon candles. It's completely changed the mood and feeling in my home, and has us anxiously awaiting cooler weather.
A few weeks ago I was contacted by Goose Creek Candle Company. Have you heard of them? I hadn't until then, and I know my candle companies. I was sent a couple of candles to try out, and review. When, I received the box, I was blown away! Without even opening the package, I could smell the amazing aroma penetrating through the box! To be completely honest I had pretty low expectations for these candles, but let me tell you...after days and days and hours and hours of use...I'm hooked!
First off, the fragrances I received were a 16oz. Iced Dew Drops and a whopping 39oz Vanilla Cashmere.
The Iced Dew Drops has almost a citrus note to it, its light, cool, and refreshing. Hints of vanilla, floral, and musk are also mixed into this complex scent. It's not a scent I would normally choose for myself, but after burning it for a few hours it has grown on me.
The other scent, Vanilla Cashmere, what's not to love? If you have a cashmere sweater, you know what I mean. This soft, decadent, vanilla blossom scented candle has hints of coconut mixed into it as well. Just trust me when I tell you this candle is scrumptious, and an absolute must-have for an Autumn fragrance.
See this photo here. I have been burning these candles all week, for at least 2-3 hours a day. I've hardly made a dent. Just one of the reasons I am absolutely smitten with this candle company. These are also the cleanest burning candles I have personally ever tried. You know how certain candles leave that black soot all over the jar? Not Goose Creek Candles! I can't say enough good things about them....
Well actually, I can...

* This post is brought to you by Goose Creek Candle Company. I was compensated to do this giveaway, however all opinions are my own, and in my opinion this company makes a fantastic product, and it was a pleasure to work with them.
White Linen please! I am in desperate need of a new candle. Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway Christine!
ReplyDeleteOh hard choice- One? Only One?! Anything Fall scented really, loving the Pumpkin or the Caramel Apple one! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteALL of their scents sounded absolutely wonderful but I would pick Dark Vanilla Bean!
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the hazelnut cream, being born in germany and my mom baking with hazelnuts, its bound to bring back memories. sounds wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThey all sound wonderful, but I think I would have to pick Iced Dew Drop. Aside from the clever name, the color of the candle is really nice too.
ReplyDeleteI would love any of the Fall scents maybe the pumpkin one! I love the style of the American Heirloom collection, so pretty :)
ReplyDeleteAfter selling candles for several years for the competition I became quite the candle snob. I don't put up with soot in my jars or on my walls. After reading your comments on these candles I am intrigued. I am interested in Whipped Pumpkin Latte Scented Jar Candle. I really had a hard time picking 1 though, it seems they have really done a good job putting together wonderful sent combinations.
