The Sunshine Award

Last week, Liz from Naptime Decorator wrote on my Facebook page to go check out her latest post, because there was a surprise at the end. So I went and checked it out, and to my surprise this sweet girl chose me to receive the 'Sunshine Award.' 

I read Liz's blog religiously! She has so many great projects posted, and this girl is just filled to the brim with creative ju-ju. This award is given from bloggers to “bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere.” So for Liz (who inspires me daily with her thrifty craftiness) to give this award to me is a huge honor, and quite frankly a surprise! Thank you!

1.  Favorite color- I can only pick one? I'd have to go with light Turquoise. It's such a happy color.

 

2.  Favorite animal- Hmm...I guess dog. I love all animals equally so it's hard to pick a favorite.

 

3.  Favorite number-  3- its a lucky number for me

 

4.  Favorite Drink-  Depends on the time of day. Morning: Vanilla Latte -Daytime: plain ol' H2O- Evening: Vodka Cranberry with extra lime ;o)

 

5.  Facebook or Twitter- Facebook- I just can't get into Twitter for some reason (maybe it's because I really don't know what I'm doing) lol

 

 6.  Good book or good movie-  Good book for sure!!

 

7.  My passion-  Home Decor and DIY- for as long as I can remember I've been obsessed. Even when I was a teenager with a part time job, living at home with my mom. While all my friends would rush out to buy the latest in designer jeans, I would take my tiny paycheck to Home Depot and buy paint or flowers to plant in the garden. 

 

8.  Giving or getting gifts-  I have always been a GIVER! It brings me so much joy :)

 

9.  Favorite day- holiday? Christmas, day of the week? I guess Saturday...

 

10. Favorite flower- I can't pick just one! I think my top favorites would have to be hydrangeas, tulips, roses, gladiolas, and peonies.
