I hope you all are having a lovely week so far! I just wanted to thank everyone who linked up their fabulous recipes last week! My mouth was drooling. Seriously! I'm in awe of you fabulous bakers out in blog land...I, on the other hand am baking challenged. True story!


It's been hectic around here the past few days so I didn't get around to making anything. We are going down South for a little vacay tomorrow, and it's MUCH NEEDED. I can't wait to see my family and friends...it's been too long, and you know that saying 'distance makes the heart grow fonder' -so true!

Thirsty? I am! Summer is here and what's better than a cool glass of lemonade. This recipe from The Thriftiness Miss is sure to quench your thirst. I'll take mine spiked with vodka please!

Last but certainly not least...German Apple Cake from Addicted to Recipes. Mmm... I am so {attempting} to bake this when I get back! I'm baking-challenged, remember?
