It's so easy to forget where you started from. What ever it is you begin, whether it's weight loss, home improvement, or just documenting every day life...Take pictures!
In a few weeks it will be our one year anniversary in this house. It doesn't feel that long. I feel like we are just now getting settled. We are just now starting to really make improvements on this once foreclosed and abandoned house. There is still so much more to do!
This morning after running a few errands I came home and really looked at our house as I was pulling onto the street. I was in awe. We did this. Yes, there is so much more to do, but look how far we've come...
Before it all...Home Inspection Day.
Before, when there was no lights around the garage.
Before, when we didn't have grass.
Before, when we had massive dead palm trees next to our house.
Before, when we were thinking "what did we get ourselves into?"
and now...
Talk to you soon,

Looks great!
ReplyDelete1 year! We will ht one year on May 29th, it's crazy, right? Sometimes it feels like time is moving so slowly, like I'll never get anything on the walls, and then, boom, a year is almost over.

Jessica if my house looked half as good as yours after a year I'd be thrilled! Come to FL and decorate for me? ;)

Thanks so much Vanessa!
DeleteYour house is gorgeous! You have done a phenomenal job, and it shows. This is why it's a great idea to start a blog when you first get a new home, to show you how much change you have done, I started mine a little late, but finally caught up. Lovely landscape by the way, makes me miss all those beautiful FL palm trees :(
