Spring Cleaning: The Refridgerator

Today I was feeling well enough to tackle one of the jobs I like the least. 

Cleaning the out the fridge...

I mean REALLY scrubbing it and organizing it. I haven't done this in a good 3-4 months...I know...ICK! Anyways, it's much much MUCH better now so I decided to go ahead and show you what I did.

I first emptied my entire fridge, and tossed out anything that was spoiled, close to spoiled, almost empty, etc...I'll spare you the nasty during pictures. It was gross!

I happen to LOVE the Mrs.Meyers cleaning line. It smells REALLY good, and I think it cleans great! So I filled a big bowl of warm water with a few drops of the dish washing soap and then used a sponge to scrub the heck out everything.

Here it is all scrubbed down and smelling fresh...ahhh!

The other day when I was at the Dollar Tree I picked up these cute baskets. I didn't have a purpose for them really, but I liked the color and at a dollar a piece I just couldn't resist.

Well, they have a purpose now! Corralling all of the bottles that usually get tossed around and lost in the back of the fridge are now neatly categorized in their baskets. Am I the only one that thinks blogging has made me a little OCD? Yes? Okay...moving on then...

I feel as if a weight has been lifted off my shoulders now. I can see everything, and know exactly where everything is, and it's one more thing I can cross off my spring cleaning checklist.
