It's Crunch Time!

Hello....Welcome...Thank you for stopping by! We have been proud renting occupants of a cute little duplex for 3 years, and just recently purchased a home a few hours north of where we currently reside. As much as I tried to make this rental a home...I just never could! It wasn't functional for our family or our lifestyle, and I never could put my whole heart into it. It's going to be so hard leaving friends and family behind, but we are just so excited to get out of our routines here, and experience more! Today my husband told me the closing date is set for the 25th, and our moving date is the 8th of June...YIKES! I felt like I was on the ball packing, and getting stuff done to prepare...but as I sit here looking around while typing to you, I realize I've made a tiny dent in this overly cluttered house. Of course my first instinct is to throw away, donate, sell on Ebay and Craigslist, but I have to stop myself from purging, and remember that the home we are moving into is almost 3 times the size of this one we're in, and as much as I would love to just throw away everything and start from scratch...We just aren't able to do that!! Who is?? Anyways...Enough rambling on and on...I need to get my booty in gear motivated and start seriously packing now, because it's crunch time! I'm just so excited, and can't seem to peel myself away from design blogs and decorating idea forums and POTTERY BARN (oooooh how I love thee) But I must, and I will, because the faster I pack, the faster we can walk through that door and say....
